Digital impressions have been around for over 27 years beginning with the CEREC system. In the past years 3 more systems have entered the marketplace with four or more coming during this year. These systems have had enhancements in both the devices and the software. Some allow the practitioner to create restorations in the office while all now allow images to be sent to dental labs. With this process, labs have an option to eliminate models but still create traditional restorations using new digital technology. There have also been a large number of NEW high tech products being introduced to the industry. Dr. Feuerstein will take a look at digital impressions and high tech products in the industry today and possibly in the future.
Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will be able to understand the variety of digital impression systems and their advancements and clinical benefits, both for the practitioner and for the lab personnel   ( disclaimer , AGD PACE Statement )
